Although the people of Rajasthan live in a harsh environment with water shortages creating major problems for them they remain fiercely proud. They brighten up their lives with colour the womens clothes are often in strong, bold hues and the men wear brightly coloured turbans. Consequently, Rajasthan is one of the most photogenic places in India.
